The original manufacturers part commonly splits and crumbles at the point it secures to the throttle body underneath (not obviously visible until you remove it and inspect). This allows some air to bypass the sensors and can cause poor engine running amongst other symptoms. This is a cost effective replacement part at a fraction of the cost of the main dealer. Please note the centre Y-section piece is the same for every 3.0 and 5.0 supercharged model (the common failure point), the left and right tubes differ per model, if your vehicle doesn't have the same left and right tubes as our product, the centre piece can still be used to rectify the common split pipe issue.
