Many gearboxes state 'lifetime fluid'.... This is presuming you don't expect the lifetime of a gearbox to be very long. It is always best to professionally service and automatic gearbox. Overtime contaminants such as clutch or brake band dust, metal swarf and moisture will contaminate and deteriorate the fluid. To give your gearbox prolonged life and smoother operation, this comprehensive kit contains: -Fluid for the gearbox to Jaguar specification. -A new fluid sump -complete with magnets to collect metallic swarf and stop it from recirculating around the gearbox -sump seal (attached) -set of bolts -Fluid filter (attached to sump) This kit should be installed by someone competent in doing so. The fluid level is critical and is set at a set fluid temperature rating of the manufacturers technical specifications. For 6 speed gearbox only. See separate listing for 8 speed. Does NOT fit 5 or 9 speed.
